Minutes of the meeting of Regional level committee for implementation of CMP held on 22.10.2012
The meeting of the Regional Level Monitoring Committee for Implementation of Common Minimum Programme in KVs of Jammu Region was held in KVS, Regional Office, Jammu on 22.10.2012 at 9.30 a.m . The meeting was presided over by the Dy. Commissioner, KVS, RO, Jammu. The following members participated in the meeting:

- Dr R. Prasqad, Principal, KV.No.1 Udhampur
- Mrs S Dogra , Principal, KV Samba
- Mr T R Chaudhary, Principal, KV ,Sunjuwan
- Mr.P.L.Dhiman,Principal KV.2 Pathankot
- Mr M. Laxmi Narayan , Principal, KV.No.2 Jammu.

All the members were welcomed by Mrs Usha Shamindra, Assistant Commissioner .
Following Points were discussed in the meeting:
1. REPORT OF CLUSTER LEVEL MEETINGS
The report was submitted Dr Chitra Mishra about the CMP Meeting reports of all the clusters. The names of KVs which have not submitted the exemplary materials to the concerned Cluster in charges was informed.
2. SCHEDULE FOR CMP MEETINGS UNIFORMLY
To have uniformity in the region, a specific schedule is given to all the KVs to organize the CMP Meetings. Yearly 3 Meetings to be organized in April, Sep and Dec invariably . The meeting should be conducted before 15th of the month and report should reach to the RO by the end of the month. The report should contain following Points :-
- Assessment of completion of previous plan
- Reasons for incomplete assignment ( if any)
- Plans for next quarters.
The CMP Meeting in April should plan for complete year ahead. Every school has to publish minimum two news letter in a year and at the Regional level every quarterly (three New letters are to be published).
3. COMMUNICATION TO THE VIDYALAYAS.
It is decided that any decision and suggestion taken at RO level CMP Meeting should reach to the Vidyalayas through the Cluster in charges and there should be regular check up
and feedback on implementation on them in true spirit.
4. CMP MEETING MANDATORY FOR PRINCIPALS AND H.Ms.
It is observed that some of the Principals and HMs show a casual approach to attend the CMP Meeting. Such attitude is not acceptable. So it is decided that it is mandatory for all the Principals, HMs/Senior most PRT to attend the CMP Meeting at Cluster level. Cluster In-charge must take the feed back on ATR submitted by the Principal and HM.
5 EFFECTIVE PREPARATION AND USE OF TLM
Unanimously it was decided that the TLM so developed should be effective and should be used judiciously. The worksheet designed by the Teachers must include min three competencies and at the bottom of worksheet teacher must mention the competency so developed by him/her during teaching.
They have to be assessed by the HM during the class observation and report to the principal in writing. The HMs or principal may suggest the teacher to inspire the performance within a stipulated time. Exemplary work sheets should be displayed for all Primary teachers.
6 INFRASTRUCTURE FOR GAMES AND SPORTS
Infrastructure for sports and games and CCA expenditure for primary section should be 25% of total schools expenditure for the same.
To encourage more sports in primary section Cluster level competition can be organised as per age group.
Sports Items have to be purchased as per age for primary students.
One primary teacher must be made in-charge of sports items. These can be issued to the concerned teachers during games period and collect back. This has to be maintained by the HM.
7 CLASS LIBRARY
Books for class 1 -2 & 3-5 must be specific. List of books can have from internet. The purchase of books in Hindi and English must be equal. Every Class Teacher (Library Period Teacher) must maintain an issue register. Every child should be issue 2 books in a month, it is to monitored by the HM. Library Committee should take Primary students and the teachers with earlier information.
8. SAFETY AND SECURITY
To ensure safety & security of the students, proper care must be taken throughout the day but especially during entrance, recess and going home (10 mts earlier than Secondary section).
